Location – London, England
Hobbies –Going out, Writing, Listening to music, Dancing about,
Style – Quite plain yet cute on a regular basis, comfortable jeans, a favorite t-shirt. Sometimes very sixties on nights out or indeed seventies on other nights. London has quite a big 60’s and 70’s scene which is always fun and usually full of nice people : ). Basically I like dressed dependent on how I feel, mostly within the realms of 40’s fashion to 70’s. I take little bits from each and piece it all together – sometimes creating my own cloths (or for more efficiently having my sister do it) which usually ends up being the best pieces of a wardrobe.
Role Model – Sounds kind of strange to some people but Hunter S. Thompson and Joe Strummer.
Goals/Dreams – To become a Zoologist, To one day drive a golf cart (I don’t know why but I’ve wanted to do that since I was little and it’s stuck), To be comfortable because frankly being poor sucks. A lot.
Describe vintage – I’ve read a few people’s explanations. To be quite frank I think some are a little off the mark; many relating vintage to what it used to be – clothing and objects that were old. The birth of what is now modern ‘vintage’ was when people eventually clocked on and realized that style and fashion is becoming less and less original as time went on so decided to rebirth old trends as well as music, lifestyle and the rest of it, in order to give them a unique look that differed from the average person. Despite this many people that have taken on the ‘vintage’ persona so to speak, lack the originality and artistic mindset that is needed in order to break away from the stereotypes and general populous in terms of fashion and frame of mind causing the entire scene so to speak to kind of become a paradox of itself.
What does vintage mean to you – For me it goes beyond simply buying something old at a thrift store and throwing it in with an Abercrombie & Fitch outfit. It becomes a reflection of your self to create and dream up your own personal style that doesn’t fall into anyone else’s category. Being someone who falls under the label ‘vintage’ means that your style, personality and tastes are completely original and not faked in order to fit into some over-exposed trend.

Why should we accept you – I think you should accept me because I won’t simply post obscene numbers of pretentious photographs of myself – I’ll actually try and generate discussions about real things. This community looks like it had a lot of potential and by accepting me into it I think that I could help some of that potential come to be.
Colour – (Typically) Blue, Brown and Purple.
Actor –Richard E. Grant and John Mills.
Actress –Audrey Hepburn.
Movies – Withnail and I, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Brazil, Drop Dead Fred and many more.
TV Shows – If I bother watching TV – it’s going to be the worst show on there. So Family Guy, Conan O’Brien, John Stewart, The Simpson’s and when I actually want to seriously watch something then it’s going to be Animal Planet or Spring watch – basically anything to do with nature.
Bands – Death Cab for Cutie, Postal Service, Magnetic Fields, The Ramones, The Kinks, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, X-Ray Spex, T-Rex, White Stripes and too many to put here.
Food – Sushi, Sunday Roasts (It’s an English thing), Grilled Cheese.
Clothing Store – Deptford Market consequently located in Deptford, London. Surprise Surprise (because it’s cheap; like the budget) and lots more that I'll dipose upon request.
Smiling goofily at Club Bohemia, because there's so much to smile about there.
